Check fruit and potato stores to remove rotting material before it spreads.

Pack away netting, canes and other reusable material

Remove spent plant material and compost

Dig over beds or mulch if you cannot dig

Clear away leaves as they fall

Pick up late apples

Clear out your shed. Tidy it up ready for a new start in spring

Believe it or not the souls still considered to be warm sowing broad beans.

Last chance this year to plant garlic early in the month.
