Fertilise beds and borders with a general purpose fertiliser

Plant second early and main crop potatoes

Plant out early sown summer cabbage, broccoli and peaks

Protect fruit blossom from late frosts

Ventilate greenhouses

Plant lily bulbs

Fork in a 5cm layer of compost, well-rotted manure or green waste into beds in preparation for the growing season.
