Before Jenna Rocka and Elena Gilbert were riding motorbikes in the sun, doing shoot after shoot for new album covers or magazines, they were chillin’ in the Big Apple living life like any normal person. The New York besties were eating sleeping raving and repeating, whilst working nine till five on weekdays.

​They were first signed to major label Columbia in 2004 with Rick Rubin as one of their producers they spent the next two years banging out the tunes for their first album ‘Hallucinations’ which was released in March 2006. As soon as the album was released, thanks to sneak-peak leaks of their songs, the album went off the shelf before you could even spell ‘Hallucinations’ and they hit number one within two days of the release.

After the album was released, everything went quite for a while, but this was their plan. Invisible Blonde came back with a smashing album in 2009 which blew our minds. It was called ‘Traveling Pants’ and after three years of hearing nothing new, their fans went mad. The albums flew of the shelves and the downloads hit the roof, but this time they only made it to number two in the charts.
